Board of Directors
OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS SEEKING INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ABLE TO:
- Exemplify and reinforce our organization’s values of inclusively, innovation, professionalism, accountability, excellence and advocacy
- Participate in the on-going education of issues relevant to the needs of our clients and the community we serve
- Recognize that the environment of health care is complex and changing and able to view this from a strategic process to move the organization forward in a proactive manner
- Foster a sense of inclusiveness and leadership among members of the Board of Directors
- Bring skills that relate to one of the following: marketing, public relations, financial management, strategic planning, organizational development, facilities management
- Bring a knowledge of the needs of the populations that we serve: people with mental issues, people living in poverty, newcomers and immigrants to Canada, ethnocultural communities
This is a volunteer commitment of 4-6 hours per month.

Volunteer Policies and Procedures Manual
The purpose of this Volunteer Policies and Procedures Manual is to provide overall guidance and direction to LONDON INTERCOMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE (LIHC) staff and volunteers engaged in volunteer management and work. These policies are grounded in the LIHC’s vision, mission, and values.
