YOUTH OUTREACH WORKERS

The Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) Team is committed to promoting youth and community engagement and increasing youth access to opportunities.

Through an outreach approach, the YOW team meets youth “where they are at.” In various community locations across Northeast London, the YOWs provide direct person-to-person contact with youth.

Workers build trust with youth, families and the community, and support them to find appropriate programs and services. The YOW Team enhances and promotes the development of community based services and indigenous leadership.
